What to do in August
Summer in Luxembourg
August, the days are longer and it seems the country has slowed down a little. There is less traffic and are fewer people. So how about gathering your friends or family, organizing a picnic or game night. Throw a barbeque party. Enjoy the starry nights. Go on solo-walks and discover our beautiful country, with all its different feels in the different parts. Do all those touristy things you never come around to do: that museum you always wanted to visit, that castle you have been wanting to go to, that restaurant you wanted to try, that boat ride in Remich that has been on your list for ages, or that cable-car ride in Vianden that you have been hearing about for so long. Discover and rediscover Luxembourg; alone or with friends or family. Feel like a tourist in your hometown.
As every month, get inspired by our small selection of events that will take place in the next couple of weeks! :) Enjoy your summer in Luxembourg.
